KDI Cares Foundation2020-09-25T19:09:43+00:00

KDI Cares Foundation, the non-profit arm of KDI Office Technology, was created to assist local, charitable organizations in raising funds to support their causes through internal and external fundraisers and drives, raffles, auctions, and events.

We raise money for the community in which we serve for organizations such as American Cancer Society, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, Philabundance, Toys for Tots, and Community Action Agency of Delaware County. Through our partnership with Nemours, we’ve also created Nemours’ Holiday Family in Need, a KDI program where a hospital family is annually selected to be the recipient of our holiday fundraising efforts. Throughout the year, we also support various charities by attending and sponsoring many of our customers’ events.

KDI Cares FoundationKDI Cares Foundation is humbled to be an American Cancer Society Flagship Sponsor for our dedication to their organization. Since the fall of 2018, the Foundation has donated more than $160,000.00 to the cause. We also proudly participate each year in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Greater Philadelphia & Southern NJ walk in Pennsauken, NJ. Over 2500 men are diagnosed with breast cancer each year, a fact that many people don’t realize. KDI urges both men and women to do regular, self-check breast exams. We’re fully committed to the power of pink and to raising awareness and funds ensuring no one fights this horrible disease alone.

For the health & safety of our participants, our 2020 Making Strides Walk event will be going VIRTUAL! Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Greater Philadelphia and South Jersey will also be joining forces with the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Ocean City NJ…… as one, South Jersey event. Exciting details coming, stay tuned!!! Watch the announcement here.

Like most people, breast cancer has unfortunately touched the lives of many KDI team members. Breast cancer has also taken the life of Rick & Terry Salcedo’s (our CEO & CFO) beloved brother-in-law. Our team regularly gives back to the community through various fundraising activities and is committed to ensuring no one fights this horrible disease alone. KDI Cares Foundation has proudly hosted the Pink Ball Golf Outing for the past two years. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and participants, we have collectively donated over $160,000 in two years to the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Our goal for our 2021 outing is $90,000.

KDI’s goals are high and we know we can’t reach them without the support of our sponsors. Please join our continued fight against breast cancer by participating in our 3rd Annual PINK BALL Golf Outing, benefiting Making Strides. Whether you play, sponsor, donate, or support, we thank you in advance for helping us honor those who are fighting while remembering those who have left us too soon.

Please contact us for the many ways you can get involved in PINK BALL. To ensure your company gets maximum advertising exposure on our golfer solicitation materials and event website, be sure to respond by May 31st.

If you have any questions, please contact us at PinkBall@kdi-inc.com.
