As we learn more about COVID-19, we want to inform you of the proactive measures KDI has taken to prevent the spread of the virus, ensure the health and wellbeing of our workforce, and continue to serve you without interruption.
Each KDI employee has been educated in the seriousness of the COVID-19 virus as well as the CDC’s recommended preventive and social distancing measures required to assure containment and/or eliminate exposure. Emergency contingency planning has also been completed internally. KDI is fully prepared to ensure continued support with minimal impact to our customers.
We have taken 3 very important, precautionary steps regarding Service, On-Site Training, and Customer Meetings.
KDI is Committed to Service!
KDI anticipates our service will remain intact throughout this pandemic and will continue with business as usual. Although it’s not presently applicable, there is a possibility that service may experience a slight lag time due to staff availability. To that end, backup technical representatives have already been allocated to assure coverage throughout our servicing area.
Equipment Deliveries, Set-Up & Training.
All deliveries, set-up, and training will be conducted with added sanitary measures. All equipment will be thoroughly sanitized before entering into any facility. The delivery crew will also maintain the same, high-level sanitation protocol.
KDI is virtually equipped to conduct any meeting with clients as desired or required. Effective immediately, we will implement a Go-to-Meeting Strategy so appointments can be handled remotely. All paperwork will also be handled electronically via eSign.
If you are comfortable with an in-person meeting, we will limit the number of participants on our end to only those that are essential. If you are currently interacting with a KDI Representative, you will be contacted to discuss these options. KDI is taking the COVID-19 virus very seriously and staying out in front of what’s occurring. We are actively monitoring the situation and adjusting our internal policies accordingly. Should the need arise, KDI is fully prepared to conduct business remotely to ensure that business continues normally. The information about this virus changes daily.
