Dear Friends & Family of KDI Cares Foundation,

As 2019 comes to a close, we invite you to celebrate the achievements KDI Cares Foundation has accomplished this past year. It is because of your generous support and dedication that we can fight against breast cancer, so no one fights alone. In 2019, the Foundation donated $80,000.00 to the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Together, we were also able to give the gift of HOPE by providing much-needed funding for innovative breast cancer research, free lodging near treatment for patients and caregivers, new free wigs through Wig Banks and Cancer Centers, and so much more.

Since the fall of 2018, the Foundation, which was started by KDI Office Technology in Aston, PA, has donated more than $160,000.00 to the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Like most people, breast cancer has unfortunately touched the lives of many KDI team members. Breast cancer also took the life of the brother-in-law of KDI Office Technology’s CEO and CFO, Rick & Terry Salcedo. KDI Cares Foundation, which honors his memory, is dedicated to assisting local charitable organizations by raising funds to assist their cause, through events such as Pink Ball.

“We are grateful to our donors, volunteers, attendees, community, and Board of Directors,” said Crystal Manning, KDI Cares Foundation Board Member. “We would also like to give a special shout out and thank you to all of the Cooper River Making Strides walkers, volunteers, and supporters who stopped by our table. We appreciate you listening to our passionate story and getting your photo taken with our pink boxing gloves! Each of you is essential to the Foundation’s mission and investment in our fight to find a cure.”

The Foundation also has exciting new events planned for 2020 in addition to our 3rd Annual Pink Ball Golf Outing on Thursday, September 24th. Be on the lookout for event emails in the coming months!

From our family to yours, we wish you a very happy and healthy 2020!
